We return to “The Chosen”! A crowd-funded episodic television series, “The Chosen” paints an imaginative picture of the life and ministry of Jesus through the eyes of the people who knew him. We will be watching the eight episodes of Season Three. Episodes vary in length from 35 minutes to about an hour. Each will be followed by an opportunity to share your reactions with the other participants.
Showings begin at approximately10:50 am (following morning Mass and Rosary) on eight Wednesdays from September 20 to November 8. All sessions will take place in the Saint Scholastica social hall.

Parish members who watched Season One and Two found it deeply engaging. If you have not seen “The Chosen,” join us to experience a new take on the life of our Lord. If you have already watched the third season, join us to share your thoughts with others in our community!
Through the RCIA, we welcome adults and older children into the Catholic Church.
The RCIA is primarily intended for people who have never been baptized. We also work with Christians who have been baptized in another denomination but would like to become Catholics, and with baptized Catholics who were not raised in the faith and have not yet received the sacraments of Confirmation and/or Eucharist.
As much as possible, we tailor the process to the needs of the people who are inquiring. The purpose of the process is to help our inquirers come to a beginning knowledge of Jesus and a relationship with him through our parish community. Beginning the process does not imply commitment on your part.
Let us know if you are interested in joining the Church or in helping others to enter!
We usually have a program in the fall and another during Lent in the late winter and spring. Other special programs are announced in the bulletin and on our website.
Would you like to form a book club, discussion group, prayer or support group? Would you like to organize a group retreat? Please contact Andy Bechman to discuss the possibility.
