Headlines both global and local make it clear that we are in the midst of a many-faceted ecological crisis that is also a crisis for the people of Earth, especially those with the fewest material resources. We are used to seeing this crisis in terms of science, or politics, or technology, or economics, but it is a deeply spiritual time of decision as well. This Lent, join us as we look deeply into our faith tradition, widely around the world, and clearly but compassionately into the mirror in order to discern how God is calling us, as individuals and members of communities, to respond to the cry of the Earth and the cry of the poor.
