Mass Intentions & Tabernacle Candles

It is the tradition of the Catholic Church that Masses can be offered to pray for a special intention or for the souls of our deceased loved ones. In addition, we offer the opportunity for the weekly tabernacle candle in each of our churches to be offered for an intention or in memory of a loved one.

Scheduling of Mass intentions begins in October for the upcoming year. The request form is printed in the bulletin throughout October.

Intentions are scheduled only through our administrative office located at Saint Joseph Church, 342 Dorseyville Rd, Pittsburgh PA 15215.

To request a Mass or tabernacle candle you may complete the form below and return it to the administrative office or place it in the collection basket.

Please note: to ensure Masses are available to all who request them, you may only request ONE Mass for a Saturday vigil or Sunday morning and TWO on a weekday. The Masses will be scheduled on a first-come, first­-served basis.

The stipend for a Mass intention is $10. The donation for a tabernacle candle is $20. Please include a check made out to Christ the King Parish with your request form.
